Theo hired Ti Tig (Little Tiger) to keep the mice out of the office... or at least to look adorable while playing with office supplies. Sadly, Ti Tig's work ethic leaves a bit something to be desired, but maybe it's because he's paid in kibble?

At the ruins of San Souci (a castle built in post-independence Haiti in the 1800s), thousands of pilgrims gather to celebrate the holiday - and to use SOIL's mobile toilets! Here at SOIL, we love transforming waste of all kinds. Though poop is always a favorite, we're also working to promote composting of kitchen waste and vegetable scraps, which is easy for anyone to do at home. In Theo Talks Episode 27, our resourceful north Haiti Regional Director, Theo Huitema, takes some salvaged coconut shells that were headed to the dump and turns them into a delicious snack for the fish in our aquaculture project!
