Letters to SOIL: Mr. Cone's Global Issues Class

[box type=”shadow”]SOIL Letters is a blog series featuring some of the beautiful letters we’ve received over the years in support of the work we’re doing in Haiti.[/box]

Earlier this month, we were privileged to host Matt Cone, a teacher from Carrboro High School in North Carolina, and a small group of his students. They were in Haiti to present at the Haitian Studies Association annual conference and stopped by SOIL to pay us a visit. Following their return to the States, Mr. Cone’s entire Global Issues class participated in a video conference call with Sasha Kramer, SOIL Executive Director, to complement their study of Haiti and post-earthquake reconstruction. Each of the students wrote Sasha a personal note after the conversation, and they were all so lovely we couldn’t pick just one to share!
