One of the secrets behind SOIL’s success is that we respond quickly to changing conditions on the ground, and we always prioritize the needs of the communities where we work. This can mean that there are sometimes small delays, but in the long-run our projects are more effective.

But in Theo Talks Episode 25, SOIL’s ever-entertaining Regional Director for Cap-Haitien, Theo Huitema, documents a small unorthodox delay in the roll out of household toilets in Cap-Haitien. According to Theo, “What we say at SOIL: We can do it! It only takes a little more time than we thought.”
