SOIL recently collaborated with a group of statisticians from Statistics Without Borders (SWB) to develop a (drum roll please) data quality monitoring dashboard!

The aim of this project?

Bring critical program data that had previously been managed across multiple sources into one centralized system.

By unifying our data visualization, SOIL’s Research team is now able to spend less time compiling data sets and more time providing actionable insights to our operations team.

“The SWB volunteers designed and implemented an end-to-end dashboard solution that unified SOIL’s data into a single, interactive platform, Ramalingam explained. This included data modeling, KPI definition, visualization design, and full documentation. The SWB volunteers also led a structured handoff and training session to ensure long-term sustainability and client ownership.” - Statistics Without Borders (SWB)

We’re hoping that this dashboard will significantly reduce time spent on making manual corrections by alerting our Research team when data issues occur so that they can be proactively addressed.
